How long is the ATI capstone orientation? ›

If you're getting close to the end of nursing school, you may be ready for Virtual-ATI or the ATI Capstone. If either of those are in your near future, get ready with a webinar! VIRTUAL ATI: Spend 30 minutes with our nurse educator so that you are ready to begin your final preparation for NCLEX success!

ATI Capstone Content Review is designed to help students assess and remediate on important content. Students will spend approximately 4-6 hours per week engaging in content review, depending on current knowledge level. ATI Capstone Content Review should be completed within eight (8) weeks.

To access your points earned in the ATI Capstone Content Review, log in to your ATI account and navigate to the Capstone Content Review section. Check the progress tracker or scoring system to view your points. Contact ATI support for further assistance if needed.

Where do I access Focused Review? Upon completion of an assessment, you can access Focused Review by clicking MY ATI > IMPROVE > STUDY MATERIALS. After clicking Study Materials, you will see a list of major content areas. The content areas listed here are the same as the Topics to Review on your Results report.

It is meant to indicate whether the student is on track for eventual NCLEX success. More specifically, if the student progresses on their current trajectory, they WILL be able to pass the NCLEX when the time comes.

Pretests establish what students need to learn; posttests show what they have learned. By establishing a baseline with a pretest, educators can better track and measure student growth in each of the knowledge standards.

An assessment given after an assignment, after a unit of the course, or at the end of the semester to gauge what students have learned and help them to reflect on a topic or assignment. When paired with a pre-assessment, a post-assessment can help track a learner's growth over a period of time.

In most cases, the capstone project will be an interdisciplinary study of approximately 25-35 pages in length that demonstrates graduate level research and writing skills.
